Are you in a situation where you don’t know what path to take? We all been there. Sometimes we don’t see clearly and we put pressure in ourselves to make a decision.
That’s why I decided to share with you some techniques I have learned to ease this process:
Step 1: Write the cons and pros. Do a list of the good and bad things of the situation. Don’t over think too much on this. Just write what you feel and look the list at the end.
Step 2: Ask for advice. It’s always good to ask for advice from people who knows what to do in this type of situations. Example: people who you trust or people who have a little more knowledge on the subject.
Step 3: Take a passive approach. Breath in and out. This is the most simple of all the steps. Breath-watching is a method that can be done anywhere, at any time, even if you have only a few minutes available. You can simply watch the rise and fall of your chest or belly as the breath comes in and goes out. This will lower your stress and will help you think more clearly.
Step 4: Follow your gut. Yes, that voice inside your head, that feeling in your stomach. You have heard all the advice, you have calmed yourself, you wrote the list… now do what is best for you. Ask yourself, What do I want? What would make me more happy?
Whichever decision you take always check everything thoroughly. Don’t make a quick decision if you aren’t sure. Remember everything you have learned.
Making an important decision can bring feelings of anxiety and we could feel a little scared. But if it feels good remember this: In the end, we only regret the chances we didn’t take. Right? Hope everything works out!

I enjoyed your post. My favourite decision-making strategy is Edward de Bono’s Six Thinking Hats. You can read how to implement the strategy here: http://www.winterwisdom.com/difficulty-making-decisions-simple-technique
